BARNSTABLE — State police have arrested a driver on Route 6 near Exit 5 and are on scene with drug-sniffing dogs, according to Massachusetts state police Trooper Dustin Fitch.Police pulled the car over on Route 6 eastbound near Exit 5, he said. Police followed the driver on a “brief foot pursuit” before arresting the driver on charges of possession of heroin, speeding and failure to stop, he said.
