BOURNE — A woman in her late 20s was taken to Rhode Island Hospital this morning for treatment after her car left MacArthur Boulevard and went into the woods, fire officials said. The accident was reported at 9:17 a.m. in the southbound lanes of MacArthur Boulevard (Route 28) just north of Falmouth Toyota, said Bourne fire Lt. Richard Emberg. The car, a Buick, left the road and narrowly missed a utility pole before ending up in the woods with significant damage. [...]
