EAST SANDWICH — A woman was transported to Cape Cod Hospital after her car crashed into a tree on Route 6A late Sunday afternoon.At 4:41 p.m., Sandwich firefighters responded to the call in front of 350 Route 6A. The car had front-end damage, but there was no one else in the vehicle, according to Sandwich fire Capt. Robert Black.Sandwich police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
