ORLEANS — A 37-year-old Dennis Port man was sentenced Monday in Orleans District Court to 2½ years in the Barnstable County Correctional Facility as the result of a plea deal in an assault and strangulation case at his Upper County Road apartment in September.James Hannan will serve nine months of the sentence with 90 days credit for time served and the balance of the sentence suspended for two years, according to court documents.Dennis police responded to [...]
