BOURNE — The Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office will hold a Citizens Academy on Monday nights from April 25 to June 13 at the Barnstable County Correctional Facility.During the seven sessions, sheriff's office staff will show participants the dispatch center where 911 and other emergency calls are handled, a mobile van capable of coordinating emergency radio traffic between on-site incident responders, the K-9 unit and other programs.
