BARNSTABLE — A 26-year-old West Yarmouth man being held on a murder charge was indicted Friday by a Barnstable County grand jury on a charge that he attacked a correctional officer, according to the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office.Denzel Chisholm, who is awaiting trial in the killing of Christine Ferreira, of Hyannis, is charged with assault and battery on a correctional officer.
