FALMOUTH — A 30-year-old New Bedford woman pleaded guilty in Falmouth District Court on Thursday to assaulting an employee at Papa Jakes in Teaticket earlier this year.Amanda Costa was arrested by police in March after she was accused of striking an employee at the bar in the face with an aluminum bucket, according to court records.Costa was originally charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, but the charge was amended to assault and battery.
