BOURNE — A driver was taken to the hospital for a drug overdose after he crashed into a fire hydrant on Head of the Bay Road Monday afternoon, said Bourne police Lt. Brandon Esip.Police charged the driver with operating under the influence of drugs, Esip said. Esip declined to identify the man until he is released from the hospital.
