HYANNIS — A Harwich Port man pleaded not guilty Tuesday to improper use of a credit card for a purchase over $250, according to court documents. Kevin McCarthy, 27, owner of McCarthy Tree, a tree care company based in Harwich, was charged after using a credit card he didn't have permission to use to buy $1,995.39 worth of trees from Mahoney's Garden Center in September, according to a police report.
